This position is part of Cargill's AgHorizons business unit, which serves farm customers in the United States by providing products and services including grain origination and storage, grain marketing resources and advice, crop input products such as seed and fertilizer, agronomic advice and information services. The Grain Origination Specialist will generate revenue by proactively originating grain from and selling solutions to dealers and non-targeted accounts within a Farm Service Group (FSG). This person will also service transactional account business and accounts that Farm Marketers (FM's) have generated but do not meet the requirements for an FM to service. Assist in the management and execution of FSG scalp and FOB truck programs. The Specialist will support our facility in Mt. Vernon, IN. Principal Accountabilities Grain origination and solution sales from and to non-targeted customers and service customers that do not meet requirements for an FM to service. Grain origination from transactional and non-targeted customers (farmers and dealers), seasonal accounts and swing/opportunity accounts. 1) Originate grain for the FSG (dealers, non-targeted and targeted transactional farmers) 2) Generate revenue by selling Cargill Solutions 3) Market grain into end users within the FSG outlined territory (feedlots, processors, ethanol plants, etc.) 4) Assist in and execute scalp programs within specified territories Consistently apply policies, procedures and systems to include: 1) Contract management 2) Credit 3) FSG margin management policies Required: * Four year college degree with 1-2 years of grain origination experience or equivalent grain origination e...
